Passy Paris 16e

Bassano Hotel****

Everything evokes Paris, from the lights of its bluish skies, the greys of its paving stones and its slate roofs, the beiges of its elegant facades and the canary blue of its most typical carriage entrance doors. A typical atmosphere that strongly reflects the capital infuses the Hotel Bassano, conceived in the spirit of highly contemporary design.
The intimacy of the decor and its warmth will invade you as soon as arrive in this authentic building which dates from the start of the 20th century and which lies in a quiet street.

  1. The hotel has a fantastic location & friendly staff!
I booked this hotel after scouring tripadvisor for somewhere reasonably priced in Paris that didn't sound like it was infested with bedbugs or worse. This was it. We arrived late on the Friday evening on Eurostar from London for a whistlestop weekend - of course trying to see everything in one weekend is impossible but we had a damn good go at it :) The location was good for this, being so close to the Trocadero and to the Arc de Triomphe. We took the city sightseeing bus (not the red bus) and this picked us up at the Trocadero on the main (green) line.
Staff were helpful and friendly from the minute we walked in, and as we were on the 5th floor we were relieved that there was a small but adequate lift. The rooms are small I guess, but how much room do you need when you're in Paris? We got in late each night and were gone by 8am i the mornings and the bed was fabulously comfortable. And the shower - the water pressure for us was just fabulous.
Staff at breakfast were very sweet, food was typical continental but atypical in that it was fresh and lovely. I booked through their official website and got the best rate on the web with their 3 night package. Would most definitely come back here if I am lucky enough to stay in Paris again.

The location is a dream : close to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Trocadero, etc...
I really enjoyed my room, it was really spacy, with a superb sofa :). The fitted carpet was very pretty!
